Happy new year! We are packing up all of our gear and cleaning up getting ready to head home. Christmas was a day off for us and I was able to call my family using an internet camera. I got to see my 1-1/2 year old son open a gift I bought him in Iraq so that was the highlight of my day. In just a couple more weeks I'll be able to see him in person and we can be buds again...looking forward to that! Other than that, I want to thank everyone for the care packages, letters and notes you sent while we were here. It's always nice to get something at mail call and I know everyone appreciates your support and patriotism. Have a great 2010!
