This is the first blog I have ever written...Mrs. Leonard asked Mr. Leonard to have me write something and since Mr. Leonard is my boss and Mrs. Leonard is his boss, I figured I best write something! I am in charge of a route clearance team and the photo attached is the crew in front of a little Christmas tree and lights one of the guys mounted to his vehicle. Pretty funny to be roaming around the roads of Iraq with Christmas lights all over your vehicle! Our job is to patrol and clear the roads of hazardous objects so that it is safe for civilian and military traffic to pass.
Right now we are getting things packed up in preparation for leaving Iraq...we'll miss the holidays with our families but will be home shortly afterward so we're all looking forward to going home soon.
